In which year did you start your wedding planning business and which reasons made you start working in this job?
We were planning weddings and events from 1993 in Santorini Island. From year 2000 has expanded its business by organizing destination weddings all over Greece.

We work in a team

In which languages can you take care of your customers?
English, German, Russian, Chinese.

What are the main regions where you are planning weddings?
Santorini is the main region but “Weddings in Greece by Heliotopos” is the only Greek company that organises weddings all over Greece. We have two offices for this: Santorini and Athens

What are your personal favourites regarding:
a) a location for a destination wedding in your home region?
Athens and islands of Santorini, Folegandros, Milos, Naxos, Paros, Ios, Mykonos, Hydra, Spetses
b) a location for a destination wedding in the rest of the world?
We do not organise weddings out of Greece
c) a location for a wedding reception in your home region?
Depends on the location chosen by the couple and the budget they have, also group size:
I.e. for a medium group size of 60 people -and along the Athens Riviera- we recommend Astir Palace Vouliagmeni & Westin hotel.
d) a location for a wedding reception in in the rest of the world?
We do not organise wedding receptions out of Greece
e) a country / region / hotel for a honeymoon?

We have organised weddings for prominent people but it is in our company’s policy not to announce names.

“Weddings in Greece by Heliotopos " runs the 12th year of successful wedding planning operation, being the first company to organise weddings all over Greece and the only one that has been awarded several times. Could you tell us a little story about something special that you have experienced during your work as a wedding planner?
A “surprise” wedding: the overall wedding was organised by the groom and our office 6 months before. The bride-till 4 hours before- had no idea that she will get married…hopefully she said “I do”!!!!
