criteria of the candidates

The participating couples have to meet the following criteria:
1) Up from the year 2014 there will be a World Cup Final as a joined event for 5 target groups: a) unmarried couples, b) couples that married for less than 10 years (future rose wedding couples), c) couples that are married between 10 and 25 years (future silver wedding couples), d) couples that are married between 25 and 35 years (future coral wedding couples) and e) professional wedding planners.
2) The age of each participant has to be between 16 and 59 years. Some qualification events can be limited to a higher minimum and / or a lower maximum age!
3) The couples should not be of the same sex. The integration of homosexual couples (or the start of an extra event) might come after the first final event.
4) Unmarried couples DO NOT (!!!) have to have the will to get married necessarily. Participation is totally unbinding and is open to couples that are "just friends" or colleagues etc. as well.
5) Being a professional wedding planner is NOT a binding criteria, either (and it would not help much to win the competition).
